Overview
Masaryk 169 is a mixed-use building of offices and retail in the heart of Presidente Masaryk Avenue, one of the most prestigious areas of Mexico City. Completed in 2018, it has four levels and a roof garden: a restaurant on the ground floor, a gym on the first level and offices above, with four basement levels of parking for 219 cars.
A main lobby on the ground floor connects the restaurant with the upper levels, offering a functional, high-quality experience for tenants and visitors.

Architectural concept
When I joined the project, construction was already 85% complete and the architectural design was largely defined. My contribution, together with Verónica Domínguez, Deputy Director of Architecture, focused on the interior design of the lobby leading to the office levels.
We aimed for a modern, elegant atmosphere with a careful material selection: white marble for brightness, white drywall frames with integrated lighting, and wood for warmth, contrasted with dark granite. Slim pendant lights add elegance, and the reception desk was designed from the same materials so that every element reads as one.
My role
- 01
Proposed and drafted the lobby finishes (flooring, walls, ceilings and lighting) and the finishes for the shared restrooms on the office levels.
- 02
Adapted the architectural plans to changes requested by clients.
- 03
Produced detailed construction documents to ensure accurate execution.
- 04
Ran site meetings with contractors and the construction team to review progress, solve problems and reach agreements.
- 05
Sourced and coordinated finish suppliers, ensuring timely completion of every element.
